Daniel Apon is currently the Director of Cryptography for Anduril Industries, based in the northern Virginia area. Years ago, he served as the lattice cryptography SME for the NIST PQC project during its selection of ML-KEM and ML-DSA. After that, he was a cryptographer at the MITRE Corporation focused on the industry migration to post-quantum cryptography, where he helped found the annual RWPQC workshop.
